Lilaeopsis brasiliensis is native to South America.
It is an ideal lawn plant – in an aquarium it reaches 4-7 cm in height and grows very dense.
The plant does not like to be shaded by taller plants – it is a good idea to place it near the front glass of the aquarium.
It tolerates slight salinity – therefore also suitable for aquariums with brackish water.
